J & L Davies Minutemaids was started in 1992 and has since grown into a company servicing many of the communities needs.We started with the intention of creating jobs for mothers who wanted to work part-time during school hours. Cleaning residential homes benefited these families who needed a second income. This arrangement gave employees back their nights and weekends to spend with their families. But it wasn’t long before we saw the potential for growth.
We began branching into construction cleanups, spring and fall cleanings, office and factory cleaning, and window cleaning.
Just a few years later, in 1995, we increased our workload to include steam cleaning of carpets and upholstery, as well as srtipping and waxing tile floors. This made us a more complete cleaning service.
Today we continue to expand, still with the goal of providing part-time and some full-time work to those in the community.
Ethics and Legal statement:
All Minutemaids have signed a confidentiality agreement. This provides you or your company complete confidence. Because of the HIPPA law, no employee is to divulge any sensitive material they come across while cleaning. Our employees have been instructed to follow strict guidelines prohibiting them from moving sensitive material or files while working. Our employees are instructed to leave all files laying on desks and dust around them when cleaning desks with files on them. If requested, we will lift files to dust under them, then place them back where they were. In addition, our employees know that they will be held liable and be terminated for revealing any confidential or personal information to which they may be or become privy to as part of performing their cleaning duties at your residence or your business.
